This blog archive, entitled Veritas (Latin for 'Truth'), represents various reflections on my life in Mississippi, beginning when I first arrived in Oxford in May 2005 after graduating from Notre Dame only ten days earlier and ending upon my graduation from Ole Miss in May 2007. It includes mandated topics, links to pictures of my students and classroom, and light-weight philosophical musings concerning the nature of my graduate work in the Mississippi Teacher Corps, the culture of Jackson, and my unique experiences in the classroom.
