Philosophy

Please use the navigation menu to access three specific areas relevant to my teaching philosophy. The 'Theory' section briefly describes my views on the predominant formal learning and teaching theories employed in my classroom, influenced in no small part by the very first great treatise on education, Plato's Meno. The 'Strategies' section briefly describes my most successful method of practical classroom activity, namely, groupwork. The 'Management' section briefly describes my views on classroom ambience and discipline, including download links for several Power Point presentations I created for my Education coursework at Ole Miss - one before I began teaching, one after my first year.
